MetricsDAO Season 4 Focus
The launch of the Metrics App marked the beginning of Season 4 for MetricsDAO. With a renewed commitment to our mission, our main goal for this season is to grow our analyst community and equip them with the necessary data skills and knowledge.
The launch of the Metrics App marked the beginning of Season 4 for MetricsDAO. With this new season comes a renewed commitment to our mission: empower crypto organizations by delivering onchain analytics solutions at scale. Last season, we had exponential growth in our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Analytics Challenges: +327%
- Monthly Revenue: +620%
- xMETRIC Holders: +107%
- Data Partners: Artemis, Bitquery, Dapplooker, Dune Wizards, Flipside, Footprint Analytics, GeniiData, Playgrounds, Slice Analytics, Sentio, Transpose
Our community of analysts have created nearly 5,000 analytics solutions with over 50% coming in the first quarter of 2023 alone. Half of our analyst pool became active over the first quarter as well.
For this season, we are aiming to build upon the momentum we have had over the past year which saw MetricsDAO become the insight provider leader in agnostic, community-driven, on-demand blockchain analytics. Our main goal for this season is to grow our analyst community and equip them with the necessary data skills and knowledge. With the Metrics App opening up a marketplace for any entity to tap into crypto analytics at scale, it will be important to have top-tier analysts at the ready to address the ever-growing data needs of the crypto space.
Our commitment to decentralization will see us empowering each individual pod in the DAO to deliver on their set goals and objectives to fuel our focus on season 4.
The education pod will focus on objectives around not only growing our analyst community but raising their overall skill level. This will be done by better defining skill matrices during our analyst onboarding process and making it easier for top-tier analysts and experts to contribute back into our education programs. The pod will be tracking KPIs related to analytics challenge completion rates and scores, as well as their performance in our education courses themselves.
Challenge Ops Pod
The challenge operations pod’s primary goals are to launch the most engaging and relevant analytics challenges, and to increase the participation of analysts in said challenges. As such, their KPIs are centered around (1) growing the number of holders of xMETRIC, our reputation and operations token, (2) reaching an optimal number of challenges per month, and (3) growing our partnerships which fuel the challenges we launch.
The community pod is in charge of ensuring that the MetricsDAO community remains vibrant and healthy, and analysts have all they need to grow and continue producing impactful data outputs, such that we are able to continuously deliver on our mission. As such their goals for this season are centered around four pillars.
First is ensuring the flawless onboarding of new community members into specific areas of the DAO, across pods and functional areas. The second is to make it easier for community members to share about their different areas of expertise and to effectively give feedback regarding the work of the wider analyst community. The third pillar is centered around consistently showcasing the high quality outputs of our analysts. This gives our analysts a platform to demonstrate their skills and helps open up many opportunities for them. The last pillar is of course to maintain a high quality and responsive support, especially in the face of our ever scaling operations and growing community. (Reference)
As we continuously grow both our network of analysts as well as operators/contributors within the DAO, we need to ensure that decisions and processes are executed in a way that strikes the best balance between inclusivity and efficiency. This will be the governance pod’s focus in Season 4. In order to reach the widest amount of organizations in the space and deliver the best quality analytics, MetricsDAO needs to be resilient against internal (e.g. structural, operations) and external (e.g. market demand) factors while maintaining decentralization.
Through cross-functional collaboration, we are aiming to achieve our main goal by focusing on maximizing our value centers. These are the protocol and app, our partners, and our analysts. With the protocol and app, we are focused on enhancing their operational capabilities and use cases. With our partners, we want to further deepen our relationships with data providers and support the participation of crypto organizations in MetricsDAO, whether that is through providing the data itself or crafting analytics challenges together.
All of this is in support of our analyst community. Our goal is to have more analyst participation, to improve output quality, and to widen our analysts’ public presence in the crypto space. As always, this goal is in support of our overall mission which is to empower crypto organizations by delivering onchain analytics solutions at scale.
